If You Don't Like the Answer, Try Again

Following up on my mention a week ago that Cultural Affairs had voted against the LAPD Headquarters plan, interested parties should note that the plan will once again be on the agenda when the Commissioners meet this Thursday. From the agenda PDF:

The following project was presented at the January 20th, 2005 meeting of the Commission. A Motion to approve in concept the facility as located was rejected by the Commission. It is being heard again in order for the City Attorney to clarify the legality of the Motion and to hear a report from the Council Office of Councilperson Jan Perry and the Office of the CLA as to why the site was selected.

Thanks to James Rojas for passing on the info via the newdowntown mailing list.

From James' email:

The Cultural Affairs Commission meeting will be Thursday, Feb. 3, beginning at 9:30 a.m. in the Cultural Affairs Boardroom, 433 South Spring Street, 10th Floor, Los Angeles, CA 90013
