Downtown News Talks about Bikes

The Downtown News snuck two articles by me in the Health Section this week. With the 2005 Bike Show coming up this weekend, Kathryn Meese takes a focus on cycling. In "Gearing Up" we read that:

This year the ninth annual expo rolls into Downtown Los Angeles April 23-24, and there will be no shortage of things to see, do and ride. Inside South Hall G, visitors can try on bike fashions, sign up for cycling trips and clubs, or watch gravity-defying stunt shows. Of course, this is L.A., so free bike valet will be provided for those on two wheels.

I think making the bike valet free is the coolest part of the whole thing.

The second article, "Get on the Bike," Kathryn writes of several other bike events coming up including Bike Summer. Also be sure to check out the LA Bicycle Coalition's for an ongoing calendar and more information.
