DOWNTOWN LOS ANGELES — If you were driving around Downtown tonight between 10:30 and 11:30pm, you may well have had your journey interrupted by a whole lot of people on bicycles. The second Friday of every month means it's time for Midnight Ridazz, a huge group ride that starts right near Echo Park. This month's ride had a couple different options, and the cruiser ride took a spin through Downtown. You can see the rest of my photos from the ride in this Midnight Ridazz' flickr set.

I really do want to go about starting a Downtown ride. Not a ride confined to Downtown, but just one that starts and ends around here. I think these things are a great way to get outside, socialize, and just do something a little bit wacky with a bunch of people you've never met before.
