A Little Housekeeping

DOWNTOWN LOS ANGELES — I just installed a new version of eThreads, the code that makes this site run, so if you notice anything that’s not behaving properly I’d appreciate an email. Things look pretty stable to me, and there’s a nice little performance bump in the new code.

I also took this as a chance to enable the On This Date feature I’ve had on my blog for quite a while now. blogdowntown is still pretty young, so there are going to be plenty of days that don’t have any old content, but I know I enjoy an easy way of taking a peak back at what issues were important a year ago. Pretty soon I’ll add a bit more navigation to it, so you can move backwards and forwards.
