Tokyo Moving Around Downtown

Right around the time Mission Impossible 3 was filming on Flower up by the Bonaventure, a couple other sets were also jumping in with a Japanese location.

One of those films, Fast and the Furious 3, is going to be filming on the stub end of Wilshire for the next few weeks and over the past few days has added some interesting touches to the scenery.

If you haven't been over there, it's cool to take a look around. I particularly enjoy how they manage to put US product placement into Japanese ads. That's clever.

I saw the set up, it is really cool at night when it is converted to Japan. I took some photos of my wife, it looks like she is in Tokyo
