DOWNTOWN LOS ANGELES — One of those things that you should know, but might not: If you want to follow how today's protests are affecting traffic (or just want to see Downtown conditions at any time), check out the City's real-time traffic info for Downtown.

It's not quite as cool as hanging out at ATSAC (which is pictured to the left there), but it's a nice resource.

As for driving today, just avoid Civic Center. Though by now you've probably already discovered that, perhaps the hard way.
