Presenting DeeLANC

By Eric Richardson
Published: Friday, June 23, 2006, at 01:56PM

Don Garza has a great post over on his blog featuring photos of yesterday's ceremony at City Hall where "DeeLANC" the horse was dedicated. I was stuck at the office trying to get some work done, but it seems to have been a great event and one that got a good turnout.

As I mentioned earlier this month, this event is the culmination of over a year's worth of hard work by Kathleen McMullin. She originated the idea and kept pushing, and I think the outcome really goes to show that the neighborhood council system can do some fun stuff when you put the work into it.
