Shots from the Top

By Eric Richardson
Published: Friday, October 13, 2006, at 04:42PM

Last weekend, amid all the hoopla with the Grand Avenue Festival and Detour, the Downtown YMCA held its annual Stair Climb to the Top, with participants climbing 1500 stairs to the top of Library US Bank Tower. blogdowntown reader Scott Lewallen sent in his pictures from up top (a few from the roof, but then more from the xxth floor). He's also blogged about the climb.

Getting Scott's email reminded me that I had meant to post to fellow IAAL-MAF member Will Campbell's (possibly sickness inducing) video from the climb. It's six minutes of hand-held vertical journalism, and includes about as many turns and spins as the tea-cup ride. Still good, though.
