Scott saw my posts last week about revealings at the Mandel Lofts and Pan American Lofts and sent in word of even more Downtown bits suddenly coming into view.

Yesterday morning he watched as crews took down the barricade from the 5th street side of the Jewelry Trades building, soon to be the new home of the Rite-Aid from across the street. Compare the photo from that old post with the one here to see how much nicer the building's looking.

Scott also noted that Broadway is back to its umimpeded state, with construction from the sidewalk support work all cleared up and the lanes repainted.
