DOWNTOWN LOS ANGELES — Somewhere in the list of ways that life would be altered by the marathon I missed hearing that they would be playing very loud music outside my apartment at 6:30am. Or that over that music there would be a super-annoying guy saying things like "Yeaahhh!" and "Whoooo!" all morning. I really hope the bike riders like him, 'cause he's not doing much for my sleep.

Update (9:40): Added a photo of the group that's set up down at the corner of 7th/Spring with the music. I slept through it, but Kathy says it was quite loud when their motorcycles rolled in earlier in the morning.
