District Hopping

I'm happy to report that sometime within the last week the corner of 8th and Figueroa was picked out of the Jewelry District and returned to its proper Financial District home.

The corner had been loudly proclaiming its Jewelry locale for at least a month now. I don't know who finally noticed the issue and made the noise to get it changed.

In other news not too far away, the nasty hole on Flower is still there, so careful if you're driving down that street between 7th and 8th. The second lane from the left abruptly has a pole sticking up in it.

A bit off topic but did anyone go to the Park Grand Opening this weekend in Chinatown?
