DOWNTOWN LOS ANGELES — We're still tweaking the format, but this final installment of our coverage of Sunday's Grand Performances (Part 1, Part 2) gives us a chance to unveil a format I've been wanting to explore for a long time now: a photo essay.

This set of photos represents three dozen of our favorite shots from Sunday's festivities, representing the event through each of our lenses. We had a great time, and I think the photos reflect that. Over the upcoming months we intend to explore how Downtown's story can be told visually as well.
