the game with my favorite music has to be toejam & earl, which is woefully unrepresented on the video games live list.

after that, it would have to be katamari damacy. but it's not on the list, either.

okay, how about vib-ribbon? wait, it's not on the list, either?

maybe lucasarts' outlaws. also not on the list. damn, this is hard.

okay, i pick the warcraft/starcraft/diablo stuff, because that's the company that has gotten the most of my money.

Favorite music track for a video game would have to be the classics:

Tetris , the universal mind game. Anyone can play it.

Commandos , Call of Duty, heroism at it's best.

Starcraft , otherworldly and scary to the bone, just like Halloween music.

My favorite video game soundtrack is hands down Katamari Damacy. The JPop songs are so amazing and catchy, I still have "Lonely Rolling Star" as my ringtone.

um, what about Oregon Trail or Frogger? Oregon Trail taught me how to budget my money. Frogger showed me how to make the left turn onto Cesar Chavez at Alameda.

Oh man, it's hard to pick just one. The Legend of Zelda theme? The Sonic music? Mario? But I'd probably have to go with the Final Fantasy music, because I played those most as a little kid and man that's some iconic video game music to me. What an awesome list!

Dude, Tetris, Mario, and the Classic Arcade Medley is what I'm looking forward to, if I win. Also, who can forget Contra!! All I'll be thinking when they play that is the classic cheat code! 99lives!

My favorite video game music of all time is that of Panzer Dragoon Saga. It just had an excellently composed soundtrack.

However, out of all Video Games Live list, it'd definitely be Sonic. I loved those games as a kid. Probably, specifically, Sonic 3, or Sonic and Knuckles, for the Genesis. Although I do remember Beyond Good and Evil having a great soundtrack, too.

In fact, quite a lot of that list is fantastic nostalgia.

Gosh ,

Whoever said tetris , hey, that theme song reminds me of the first gulf war in Kuwait. Everyone had a gameboy and tetris was the game and the music we heard was mainly tetris. LIstening to that music I could write a whole book of memories of that war in the desert. We did a lot of waiting so we did have time.

no contest. it's dance dance revolution all the way! my teenage cousins have it on all the time, my girlfriends do the dance dance revolution workout, and i still remember my growing anxiety when my middle-aged brother went against my 14-year old cousin head-to-head in competition mode. they kept going, round after round. i thought that thanksgiving would end with a paramedics visit for my brother's exploding heart. i hear that music and still feel the terror. viva la revolution!
