7-Eleven Brings In the Furniture

7-11 Signage at the Mandel Eric Richardson [Flickr]

The 7-Eleven that's going into the Mandel had a big load of equipment out on the sidewalk this morning, stretching from the corner of 7th and Olive back to the building's residential entrance. Work on the space has been progressing quickly -- a quick peek inside showed finished flooring -- though the liquor license hasn't moved. One would assume the spot would open without alcohol sales and get that part taken care of as time goes on. (Previously)

What about that hideous sign?

Yeah, there are two of those hideous projection signs. The 7-Eleven lettering that wraps the corner over the door is a little better.

The things we will tolerate for late-night slurpies....

Ha Ha !! That sign is uglier than a medieval gargoyle ... perching, watching, guarding, over the gates of Hades !

You should see the design details inside the Mandel! Awful.
