Helicopter Noise Just a Part of High-Rise Delivery

This morning looks to be a little quieter Downtown than was yesterday's. Saturday saw a helicopter being used to raise air conditioning equipment onto the roof of the City National Tower add a steady drone to Downtown from a little after 8am until roughly 10:30.

As I mentioned back in April, the sound of a hovering helicopter always makes me think there's some news story I'm missing. I have to fight the temptation to rush outside or to the roof to figure out where the action might be.

In this case I happened to be getting ready to head out on my bicycle with a camera, so I eventually wandered over to a vantage point where I could get some shots of the high-rise cargo getting delivered. Two more photos after the jump.

This last shot, though technically not the greatest, makes me think we should be in the jungle somewhere.
