The other South Park, several miles south of Downtown.

Today wraps up my Curbed stint, so things should return back to a more normal flow here tomorrow. In the meantime, here are the three stories I posted over there today.

While Downtown's South Park neighborhood has all the hot development action, the real South Park has been minding its own business three miles south for almost 110 years. Oddly, I think that South Park has some development ideas that Downtown would do well to learn, and I'll expound on that in just a bit.

ManOne of Crewest is signed on to do a mural in Hollywood, but the project's been getting grief from local homeowners. A meeting Saturday where his art-school credentials were revealed may have smoothed fears.

And finally, Curbed asked me what's up with Downtown's one-way streets. I gave a little history and noted that it's not one-way that's the problem, it's the way we do it. Understandability has never been a highlight of L.A. planning.
