Saturday: Night Gallery at the Regent

Regent Ed Fuentes

The Regent Theatre's location and size speak well for its potential return as a vital part of the Historic Core's entertainment lineup. For the moment, though, shows are less than regular.

Tomorrow night the space comes alive as David J of Bauhaus performs material from his stage show "Silver for Gold", which just closed a two-week run in Hollywood.

The night is put on by the Black Cat Gallery, which heads far east of the 405 to put on an event that features performance art and fashion as well as music.

The Regent Theatre is at 448 S. Main street. Doors open at 9pm, David J goes on at 11pm. Admission is $5 before 10, $10 after.

Actually that's Ed's photo. My code for properly attributing photos hasn't hit the live site yet.
