Mother's Day Fundraiser at the Redwood Bar and Grill

DOWNTOWN LOS ANGELES — If you want to score big points with your mom and haven’t already booked brunch at the Biltmore or tea at the Ritz, take her to the Redwood Bar and Grill this Sunday. Treat her to their newly launched brunch and contribute to their all day fundraiser for The House of Ruth, a shelter in Los Angeles for homeless and abused women and their children.

Now I know you might think taking good old mom to a pirate themed bar and grill might be a little out of her comfort zone, but just consider all the people you will be helping. Plus don’t complain, you’re the one who waited until the last minute to figure out what to do.

There is a suggested donation of $5 and the all day event features some of LA’s top Americana performers. I have to list a few bands simply because I love their names!
