Jim Graebner talks about streetcar history at the Los Angeles Streetcar Workshop in May.

Last month, hundreds of people interested in the idea of a Downtown streetcar gathered at the Orpheum Theatre for the Los Angeles Streetcar Workshop.

Those who didn't make it or those who would like to relive the experience will be able to do so tomorrow, June 14th, when LA Cityview 35 airs the conference in its entirety. The fun starts at 4pm, with a re-air at 10:30pm. The station's schedule doesn't include a listing, but the station this evening confirmed the times as correct.

One unfortunate thing living in "GilVille" is the requiremet to have Direct TV which doesn't carry channel 35. So not city hall or local access programs (as I used to DVR them for later viewing).

Is this something that is going to be available to download for viewing off the internet?

I'm not sure about download. That would be a good question. I know that DVDs will be available.

The intent is to have DVD's available for folks that would like to view them. This will take a few weeks. Any volunteers ti help with copies?

This will probably be coordinated through the Historic Downtown LA BID and the Bringing Back Broaway Streetcar & Transportation Committee.

We could work out a low cost purchase of the set and rental at Old Bank DVD store.
