Tonight: Closing Night on Traction

By Eric Richardson

set piece Ed Fuentes

Director Michael John Garces on stage with Rachel Jendrzejewski.

Saturday night is the last of three chances to check out Cornerstone Theatre Company's atTraction, a play about the Arts District set on Traction Ave. Kathy and I made it over last night, and really enjoyed it. The Arts District street makes for quite the effective set.

This may also be your one chance to see blogdowntown's own Ed Fuentes doing a rather odd dance during a scene about Al's Bar.

Showtime is 8:30pm, but arrive early to assure good spots in the bleachers. There's a suggested donation of $20. The show takes place out in front of Cornerstone's Traction Ave headquarters.

Ed: Great work (acting) in the atTraction piece. I attended on Friday evening...didn't get a chance to say hi. Good work, everybody.
