Winston Site Hosts 3-on-3

DOWNTOWN LOS ANGELES — Around 11am this morning the Winston Park(ing) Day site played host to a game for the Skid Row 3-on-3 basketball league. The spirited game to fifteen took place in front of Crewest Galley, with a portable basketball wheeled over from Skid Row.
The Winston site is proving thought provoking, as community members note how perfectly the half-block functions as a park space.
After the basketball game a small dog park was to be set up, with sod ready to be rolled out.
