The Tower Theater is one of two buildings hosting Comedy Walk venues this evening.

DOWNTOWN LOS ANGELES — Downtown's already got one hugely successful Thursday in the Downtown Art Walk, but it's just not enough.

Last month the Comedy Walk kicked off the "Culture Crawl," intended to make Downtown a 3rd Thursday destination. Tonight the Walk returns, joined by the successful Downtown Community Mixer.

The Mixer's up first, taking place at the Broadway Bar (830 S. Broadway) from 6pm - 9pm. Attendees are invited to RSVP at http://thelamix.com/, but walk-ins are welcome.

Comedy Walk follows, running from 8:30 - 10pm and taking place in six venues located in the Chapman Flats (756 S. Broadway) and the Tower Theater (802 S. Broadway). Twenty-four acts will be performing. The Comedy Walk debuted back in January on Art Walk night. All shows are free.
