Ma Petit Bakery's door advertises the eatery's special hours on Art Walk night.

DOWNTOWN LOS ANGELES — Plenty of establishments offer special hours during the Downtown Art Walk, when thousands of gallery-goers descend on the neighborhood to check out art and enjoy the scene. Ma Petit, which opens tomorrow, may be the first to actually place those hours as a permanent feature on its door.

The new eatery will be open until 9pm Monday through Friday, and 8pm Saturday and Sunday, but on the second Thursday of each month Ma Petit will be keeping its doors open until 11pm.

It's good business sense, and a fun reminder of what a fixture the Art Walk has become on the Downtown landscape.
