DOWNTOWN LOS ANGELES — There's still a nine days until Christmas, but already many of us have attended more than our share of holiday parties. Downtowners not burned out on the gatherings have a chance to party in support of a good cause on Wednesday night as Mozaic Media + Communications and the O Hotel present Benevolence: A Cosmopolitan Holiday Gathering benefiting the Weingart Center.

The festivities will run from 6 - 9pm, and your $20 admission gets you food and drinks sponsored by Tequila Alquimia. Entertainment will be provided by KCRW DJ Garth Trinidad. Trinidad hosts a music show on the station from 8 - 10pm on weekdays, a timeslot he just took over this month.

Other event sponsors include the Los Angeles Dodgers, AEG, 213 Downtown LA Nightlife and Al Borde. All proceeds benefit the Weingart Center, which is celebrating its 25th anniversary serving the Skid Row community.
