Skin.Graft Opens Showroom / Boutique on 4th

DOWNTOWN LOS ANGELES — Fashion design house Skin.Graft unveiled its new showroom / retail space on 4th street over the weekend. The label took over the space at the beginning of March, but buildout was put on hold while the team rushed to get a collection ready for BoxEight Fashion Week.

The avante-garde fashion label has been around for three years, but spent the first two focused on custom work. Skin.Graft's third collection, which showed at BoxEight, is described as "ready-to-wear equestrian-inspired looks."

And looking is what most of us in the neighborhood will end up doing, as accessories start at $100 and the most expensive item on the racks has an $1100 price tag. Katie Kay, one of three designers who make up Skin.Graft, invites Downtowners to still come in and browse.
