Win Tickets to See India.Arie at Club Nokia
DOWNTOWN LOS ANGELES — Wednesday's tax day, which means it's an excellent day to put aside the pain of writing that check (or celebrate a refund) and go see some music. Soulful singer India.Arie is playing an 8pm show at L.A. Live's Club Nokia, and we've got tickets to give you courtesy of Goldenvoice.
Arie won a pair of Grammy awards in 2003 for her sophomore release, "Voyage to India." Her fourth release, "Testimony: Vol. 2 Love & Politics," came out in February of this year.
Opening is Irish R&B singer Laura Izibor.
We've got five pairs of tickets to give away to blogdowntown readers. To win, let us know what the title of your song about tax day would be (within reason... remember, keep it civil). We'll be closing off comments and picking winners Tuesday evening at 8pm.

I would write a song called FUBAR. I have still not gotten my 07 refund or my stimulus check since some very nice person submitted a return in my wifes name. I call the IRS and all they can tell me is "it is under criminal investigation"
That is what I call FUBAR
