Twitter

It's been less than a month since we published our first list of Downtown businesses that are on twitter, but already it's time for a major update. The mini-messaging service is exploding in popularity, and Downtown businesses keep jumping on board.

Our first list offered you 27 potential follows, and now here's 23 more.

Thirsty? Perhaps you should be following @springforcoffee or @TheMustBar. @CrownCafeLA is a new add on Los Angeles street, and offers word on who's ready to make your latte.

@dtownburgerbar and @HoagiesandWings are both interested in offering you a bite, while @mapetit wants to let you know what's on the buffet. @ESPNZoneLALive is tweeting specials, including half-priced appetizers.

@weeneez may specialize in hot dogs, but on twitter Julie's dispensing philosophy and movie recommendations.

@BabyCakesNYC is just beginning the build-out for their new space on 6th street, but those who are impatient can filter through the NYC bits for LA morsels.

If you're looking for something to wear, @FIDM might just give you some tips. Or you could check out @apliiq, adding dashes of color on 6th. If you're looking for something more fanciful, try @SkinGraft on 4th. Over in Little Tokyo, @THEARCHRIVAL offers tips on new arrivals.

@JANM offers a glimpse at what's going on at the Japanese American museum, while @ChrysalisLA offers success stories of those that have been helped by the job placement non-profit.

@ALOUDla would like to offer you a variety of educational events, while @egeniuses will make an offer to fix your computer and @askatrainer (not related to our Ask the Trainer) will offer fitness tips.

Feeling a bit sore after all the follows? Try chiropractor @DowntownLADoc. Maybe you're so tired out you're looking for a room. If so, @SheratonLAdntwn has an offer for you. @JWLALive isn't open yet, but they'd be glad to book you for 2010.

Looking for reading material? @bedlammagazine and @downtownnews are tweeting.

And, of course, your best source for Downtown tweets? @blogdowntown.

Downtown is awesome!

I'd love to add Norrisphoto to the downtown twittering list! (In the Main Mercantile lofts)

Why leave downtown, when you can find one of La's best Wedding photographers right here at 6th and main.

Tying the knot? "Twitter" it out!

Thanks Corinne. I know I left folks off here who either slipped my mind or I didn't manage to run across, so I encourage people to add their businesses in if they haven't made the list.
