Spotted: Clever Crosswalk Sticker on Bunker Hill

DOWNTOWN LOS ANGELES — This sticker caught my eye today while up on Bunker Hill. A clever play on the freeway signs between San Diego and Los Angeles that show a family crossing the highway with children in tow, the bright yellow and black sticker portrays a pair of office workers trailing ties and briefcase contents.
The stickers were located in the crosswalk median on Grand Avenue, between California Plaza and the Wells Fargo Center, and were placed on each of the barriers preventing cars from entering the median. Their sizing and uniformity if perfectly suited to the space.
On the bottom right, the stickers bear the name "benavidafalap."

I think it's trailing money (as in corporatists running off with the nation's wealth) and the one of the left is holding a money bag. I like it.

I see CEO's running away with contract bonuses after their corporations receive bailout money. The composition, public space placement, and commentary, has this judge giving it a a 9.9. If the subjects were seen going in the opposite direction, hinting that they are escaping to Mexico, it would have added one more layer of narrative. Then I would have given it a dyess.

This is brilliant. Much moreso than the "Islands of LA" signs of a year or so ago.

Kudos to them. Unless they don't like granola.
