Dribble-a-Thon to Lead Midnight Mission Team to 3 on 3 Tourney

DOWNTOWN LOS ANGELES — A team from the Midnight Mission will take advantage of geographic proximity when it makes its way over to this weekend's Lakers 3 on 3 tournament. The three players and their supporters will dribble their way from the mission to L.A. Live.

The Midnight Mission Basketball All Stars are 27 year-old Quinten Griffin, 37 year-old Victor Williams and 34 year-old Corey Webster, all men who have come through the facility's programs.

The dribblers will leave the mission at 9am, two hours before the team's first game at the 3 on 3 tournament.

Tournament games take place Saturday and Sunday, August 15 - 16. A Fan Fest located on Nokia Plaza will open on Friday, August 14, and be open to the public throughout the event.
