Opening today at L.A. Live.

Capping off restaurant openings at the brand-new entertainment center, Rosa Mexicano opens its doors today at L.A. Live. The New York-based Mexican entrant is the latest in a string of high-end Latin restaurants to open in Downtown this year, among them Rivera Restaurant, Provecho, Yxta Cocina Mexicana, and Casa Cocina y Cantina.

The 205-seat dining room is bathed in bright primary colors and warm hues, and areas for private parties are available.

While the menu is nothing most Angelenos haven't seen before -- enchiladas, mole and tacos -- the staff advocates their signature contemporary entrees, molcajete-prepared guacamole made at your table, and house margaritas.

Rosa Mexicano: Friday, 8/14 and Saturday, 8/15 open at 5:00pm for dinner; Beginning Monday, 8/17, hours as follows: (Lunch) Monday-Friday, 11:30am-4:00pm; (Dinner) Sunday-Wednesday, 4:00pm-10:00pm, Thursday-Saturday 4:00pm-11:30pm / 800 W Olympic Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90015 / 213-746-0001 /
