Win Tickets to See The Dan Band at Club Nokia
DOWNTOWN LOS ANGELES — The Dan Band returns to Club Nokia on Saturday, September 12, its second appearance at the venue in just two months. Tickets are on sale now, but we've got a chance for some lucky blogdowntown readers to attend the show for free courtesy of Goldenvoice.
While the band has been a staple of the L.A. club scene over the past decade, comedian Dan Finnerty's band really rose to prominence through appearances in movies such as "Old School," in which the band covered "Total Eclipse of the Heart." The band's most recent film appearance was in this summer's "The Hangover."
We've got five pairs of tickets to give away for Saturday's show. To enter, just leave a comment telling us why you should win. Make sure to include contact info via either email or Facebook. Contest closes Thursday at 8pm.

I love the Dan Band. I wish I could have caught them the last time they were in town. The wedding scene at the end of The Hangover is classic! I could watch that scene over and over again! :D Hook me up! ;)

The Dan Band is hilarious! My boyfriend and his brother occassionally break out into singing "total eclipse of the heart." We missed them last time they came around. I would love to surprise my bf with some tickets! ;) nudge**nudge

I also love the Dan Band, fell in love with their songs when I saw Old School, bought their live album, and meant to see them in concert a while back and missed my chance. They Rock!
