Win Tickets to See Buraka Som Sistema at the Mayan

I just love music, and sound, anyway that it comes.. Haven't seen Buraka live, and I've been wanting too!

I would LOVE to see this band!
I missed em at Coachella, have never seen them live before and think this is my chance!

Buraka Som Sistema is seriously such a great band. Their sets at HARD and Coachella were so amazing and I really want to be at this show! I've been a fan of these guys for a while now so it'd be awesome to be there!

I should win because A- I have nothing else to do thursday and i fucking love buraka B- I was laid off saturday, and can't buy the tickets and C- I turn 21 next week and i need to start celebrating as soon and as hard as possible. Which is hard to do when you're broke. Please?

Ever since i first heard Buraka on Jason bentley's show on NPR i've love the band and would love to get ticket.

I want these concert tickets! Buraka Som Sistema goes hard! Their myspace videos gave me a brief intro to their awesome sounds and the kuduro phenomenon. I want to win these tickets so I can experience the music in person, continue saving money (already allocated play funds for Galaxy's conference final match this Friday), and learn how to dance by participating with the hyped crowd. I won a felony trial late last month...winning these tickets would nearly trump that (lol, my clients would disagree!)

"General" is one of my favorite Buraka Som Sistema songs! I love listening to Buraka in my car. I can’t imagine what it would be like listening to them live! I would greatly appreciate winning a pair of tickets because i love music, dance, and culture...Buraka is ALL three!

I heart Buraka! i sing Kalemba and Aqui Para Voces at the top of my lungs in my broken "portuguese!" i have no idea what they're saying, and it doesnt matter!!

I should win because I will dance my ass off for them and will probably be the last person on the dancefloor just like I did @ the M.I.A. show when SOUTH RAKKAS CREW came out and everybody else deserted the space. I should also win because when I tried to buy my tix see them @ "HARD" tix were sold out and I was heartbroken. I have been sharing their music with everyone who will pay attention to me. First of all, your blog is the sh!t. It's the 1st thing I go to when I need to take my eyes off "work" for a few minuets. 2ndly, I was introduced to Buraka this year on Halloween at the HARD mansion party in Downtown LA. When I 1st arrived and walked into the venue, they were hyping up the crowd and involving us in a crazy stunt that they were recording for Youtube.com. Of course I participated and I was honored to be there. Since that night, I have been bumpin' them everyday, ever since. I am SUPER stoked that they are in town tomorrow night. I lost my job last month, and finally landed myself an even better gig, but have yet to receive my 1st paycheck, so free tickets would be so helpful and I would be so greatful. Ps- My bday is in a few days. This would be the cherry on top to a really shitty month turning around for me. Thank you for your time. Long live Buraka!!!!!!
