Smart Advertising: Market on Spring Turns to Reusable Bags to Get Hours Out

DOWNTOWN LOS ANGELES — When Market on Spring started staying open 24 hours earlier this fall, it announced the move via a hand-written, letter-sized sign on the door. That sign's been since replaced by a printed one, but the market is still pretty nonchalant about its impressive hours.
Less subdued are reusable bags the shop was handing out to customers this week.
Bold letters on the side of the bags say "Market on Spring / Open 24 Hours / 213-627-6337" in all capital letters.
The market, located on the ground floor of the Hayward Hotel at 617 S. Spring, has for years been a neighborhood go-to spot for quick needs, but has evolved into more of a late-night destination over the last year. Owner Ben Azimi started bringing out a grill to offer up kabobs, and weekend hours were extended into the late-night hours before more recently taking the full 24 hour plunge.
The block of Spring between 6th and 7th will boast two 24-hour establishments starting January 1, when LA Cafe's new hours kick in.

I love it! I've only lived on Spring St. for a little while but I've seen so many great improvements to Market on Spring, maybe their next improvement will be to upgrade their outdoor seating. Keep it coming guys!

Beer and wine license would be a great addition as well.
