Thursday: City Hall Fundraiser for Haiti Relief
DOWNTOWN LOS ANGELES — Volunteers outside City Hall on Thursday will be collecting donations toward ongoing relief work in Haiti, where a massive international response is still trying to grasp the scope of destruction caused by the 7.0 magnitude earthquake that struck on January 12.
The relief drive is being organized by the offices of Councilmembers Bernard Parks and Jan Perry. Funds will go to the Salvation Army, which has more than 700 workers in Haiti helping with relief efforts.
Volunteers will be stationed on the Main street side of City Hall from 6am to 6pm.

Is this just for monetary donations or for "things". I'm dying to give away a bunch of stuff I don't use.

As far as I know, just monetary.
