Navigating Downtown can be tricky enough without running into an unexpected street closure. We'll try to help you out, posting notices from film shoots that include full street closures.

Wilshire Boulevard's Financial District dead-end will be shut down on Saturday as Columbia Pictures shoots scenes for the upcoming David Fincher feature "The Social Network." Both Wilshire and Hope will have closures that run from 5am to 10pm.

The Wilshire shutdown will run from Flower to Grand Avenue, while the Hope street closure will run from 6th to 7th.

The flick, which tells the story of Facebook's founding, has a script by Aaron Sorkin and stars Jesse Eisenberg as Mark Zuckerberg and Justin Timberlake as Sean Parker.

DESCRIPTION OF SCENE: Driving scenes. Equipment on sidewalk & streets. Exterior dialogue. Occasional traffic and pedestrian control. Dolly tracks on street. Generator.

Film closure information is subject to change. For more information about filming activities, consider subscribing to FilmL.A.'s eNotifications.
