Back in October, Elmer Ave showed off its Spring 2010 collection inside the Farmers and Merchants Bank at 4th and Spring.

Just under a year after moving into the Historic Core to share SKINGRAFT's 4th street boutique and showroom, punk-inspired label Elmer Ave moves out on its own this Saturday.

It's not going far. The new space is located directly across the street from the old one, a storefront that used to be home to Fremont Apparel Co.

Fremont recently made a move down to 7th and Main, opening up the space at 120 W. 4th for Elmer Ave.

An "Official Notice" posted on the door says that Saturday's grand opening will feature new designs, special discounts, DJ SIS, live music, BBQ, hair cuts, tattoos and "much much more." Festivities run from 4 - 10pm.

During October's Fashion Week, Elmer Ave used the Farmers and Merchants Bank at 4th and Main to stage a showcase for its Spring 2010 collection. Jackets were the focal point of the collection, in a palette of grey, black, white, and eye-catching red with a touch of army green.
