DOWNTOWN LOS ANGELES — Downtown households with little ones have a choice to make on Sunday. Take advantage of a photo-op with the Easter Bunny, or give the tykes the chance to burn off some energy in a bouncy house?
A pair of Easter offerings just a few blocks away from each other make it possible to do both this Sunday in South Park.
The Bouncy house entry comes from New City Church's Easter Fest 2010, an Easter Picnic afternoon that also features an Easter Egg hunt, face painting, clowns and arts and crafts. The free event will be held at Grand Hope Park (9th and Grand) from noon to 3pm. The church meets at the Los Angeles Theatre Center (514 S. Spring), and will be holding its Easter Celebration service at 10am. For more information, call (213) 471-2415 or email easter@newcitychurchla.com.
L.A. Live's free Easter Celebration will feature an Easter Egg Hunt for kids 1-6, face painting, and arts and crafts, along with the chance to take a photo with the Easter Bunny. It will be held at Nokia Plaza from noon to 2:30pm, and RSVPs can be made through Live Church LA by calling (213) 493-4329, or by emailing jesse@LiveChurchLA.com. Two hours of parking is available in the complex's Olympic West garage for $5.

I LIKE Easter Egg Hunts for kids, face painting, and arts and crafts, along with the chance to take a photo with the Easter Bunny !!!
But once again - I do not wish to scare firstly parents (as in "who's that woman standing so close to my kids?") nor the kids (as in spontaneous fits of crying).
So, I guess that leaves just bonnet wearing ... A G A I N !!!
