DOWNTOWN LOS ANGELES — Navigating Downtown can be tricky enough without running into an unexpected street closure. We'll try to help you out, posting notices from film shoots that include full street closures.
11th street will be closed between Main and Broadway overnight on Friday as Warner Horizon TV shoots scenes for Jerry Bruckheimer's 'Dark Blue,' which airs on TNT.
The full closure will last from 7pm to 5am. Filming starts earlier, at 11am, and will include automatic full load gunfire during the day and single-shot 1/4 load gunfire at night.
DESCRIPTION OF SCENE: Driving scenes. Camera and equipment on sidewalk, in curb lane and across the street. Exterior dialogue. Occasional traffic and pedestrian control. Stunt driving. Wetting down of the street. Breaking glass. Foot chase, set dressing with kiosk. Condor and crane. Generator. Picture vehicles.
