Today is Monday, June 7, and City Hall starts off the week with a debate over leases at Olvera Street, a DASH fare hike, and a transfer of funds from the city's parking revenue.

MONDAY: Public Safety and Budget & Finance committees meet.

At Budget & Finance, CF 09-0600-S209 is a recommendation to declare $23.46 million in surplus funds from the Special Parking Revenue Fund and transfer them to the city's Reserve Fund.

A special meeting agenda for the same committee focuses on pension issues and the possibility of consolidating the city's three pension systems.

TUESDAY: Council meets, as do three committees.

At Arts, Parks, Health & Aging are a pair of motions related to rents at Olvera Street -- CF 09-2254 and CF 09-1584-S2 -- and one, CF 10-0600-S5, restoring special events funding and a curator position at El Pueblo.

At Council, items 9 and 10 are the Historic Cultural Monument entries that were in committee last week. CF 10-0717 covers the Spreckels Building at 322-24 W. 7th and 708-16 S. Hill, while CF 10-0718 is for the Sun Realty building at 629-33 S. Hill.

Item 28, CF 10-0663, is a second consideration of the ordinance implementing the upcoming DASH fare hike.

WEDNESDAY: Council meets, as do two committees.

At Housing, Community & Economic Development is CF 10-0782, a CRA report recommending that Maguire Properties -- now MPG Office Trust -- be given an extension until up to the end of 2020 to develop an office tower on its land at 755 S. Figueroa. The property, which sits between 7+Fig and the complex's parking structure, fronts 8th street.

CF 10-0910 is a report on the status of the Concerto development at 9th and Figueroa, which has been struggling to move forward under the terms of a sold construction loan.
