Disney confirmed today that it will shut down ESPN Zone restaurants in Baltimore, Chicago, New York, Las Vegas and Washington, D.C. next week, but the move won't make a difference to the chain's L.A. Live location.

"We are not affected by the decisions of Disney on their company-owned units," said Eric Levitt, the restaurant's General Manager. The L.A. Live store is owned by AEG, the developer of the entertainment complex.

Instead, he's gearing up for World Cup and the events coming to the L.A. Live this summer. "We're still rocking for them all," Levitt said.

The only other surviving ESPN Zone will be at Downtown Disney in Anaheim.
