You don't already know (but can easily verify!) that the 2nd-best song ("Seventeen Years") on their first album (Ratatat, 2004) has the best 15 seconds of the album starting at 1:20. The song isn't even half over at that point but it's all downhill from there.
Even if I don't win a pair of tickets, I will be buying my way into Nokia tomorrow night just to hear those 15 seconds live.

Well known fact about ratatat:
They've been rapping for about seventeen years ok? They don't even write my shit anymore, they just kick it from their head you know what I'm sayin? They can do that.
No disrespect but that's how Ratatat does.
[EPIC GUITAR LICK]

Unbeknownst to many fans, the name "Ratatat" is an onomatopoeia of the vocal mating ritual of the swallow-tailed finch-pecker, a rare species of bird found only on the Galapagos islands. Mike and Evan met in Skidmore Bird Lovers' Club, the premiere bird-watching community of Skidmore College. They hit it off right away, and soon began working together to combine electronic imitations of bird songs with modern, mid-tempo beats.

Mike Stroud often goes barefoot as he’s proud of his well pedicured long dagger-like toe nails that feature images of band members faces on each toe including faces of his family.

Most people don't know this, but Ratatat secretly despises the so-called "hipsters" that follow them. They just laugh and laugh and laugh as the money piles in.

Ratatat always preforms better shows when they know I'm in the audience. It's the truth.
