Today is Monday, September 29, and...

MONDAY: Three committees meet, but without anything particular to Downtown on the agendas.

The Ad-Hoc River committee meets at 3pm to discuss updates to the river revitalization process.

Rules and Elections committee road trips with the Energy and Environment committee for a special evening meeting in Eagle Rock to discuss DWP reform at 6pm.

TUESDAY: Council is in session, as are three committees.

At Arts, Parks, Health and Aging, CF 10-1249 is supposed to be an update by Recreation and Parks on some aspects of operation at Pershing Square, including the quest to find an operator for the park's cafe facility.

At Council, item 7 is CF 10-0826, a recommendation that the city allow the Delijani family to pay for the installation of a statue of Cyrus the Great, a Persian emperor from 600 B.C., at Pershing Square.

At Jobs and Business Development is CF 10-2274, a motion looking for reports on ways to make brick-and-mortar restaurants more competitive with food trucks.

WEDNESDAY: Only City Council and the Housing, Community and Economic Development committee meets.

At Council, item 16 is CF 10-1272, sidewalk improvements and tree replacement around the corner of 1st and Alameda.
