Looking for Halloween plans that include your four-legged friends? The Furlicious Halloween Pet Social & Costume Party on Thursday, October 28, is an evening affair to raise funds for the newly-opened Arts District Dog Park.

Even with some outside support, the off-leash community social spot for pets and their owners is still a grassroots affair, so funding is needed to add water and lighting, and to cover basic ongoing expenses.

While there will be snacks for pets and owners, music, and a chance to take a pic with the pup, the real action will take place at 8pm. That’s when a costume contest will be held with prizes awarded to Best Pet Costume, Best Human Costume, and Best Human + Pet Duo.

There is a $10 minimum suggested donation for entry into the poop-spook. Cash-only raffle tickets awarding gifts from local businesses––including GoDogLA, Wurstkuche, UrbanManna, Neihule Salon, PETaPOTTY–- will be drawn at 9pm.

All proceeds will benefit the Arts District Dog Park. Those interested can email rsvp@pussyandpooch.com.
