DOWNTOWN LOS ANGELES — Three locally brewed "pop-up shops" will be held on the second weekend of December. Unique LA, A Current Affair, and Artisanal LA will all be taking place December 11th and 12th, with cross promotions between the locations for attendees.
Artisanal LA's Shawna Dawson says, "Downtown will be 'the' place for indie holiday shopping" that weekend. Artisanal originally debuted in October with dozens of vendors selling and sampling locally produced foods, drinks, and clothing.
A Current Affair will be held in the Cooper Building's Penthouse, selling vintage clothing and other rarities from more than twenty vendors, as Artisanal LA will be staged in empty showrooms in a lower level of the building. Unique LA, showcasing clothing, accessories, and art by local designers, will be held at the California Market Center nearby.
