Downtown: The One Stop Art Hop and Shop

The massive L.A. Art Show features over 10,000 works of art and concludes this weekend.

Downtown’s Art Month continues this week with a dignified Westside transplant, the Los Angeles Art Show­, and art-crawl-gone-upscale Art Weekend L.A.’s first outing. Both offer the chance to view the neighborhood as a place for serious purchases.

Some exhibits and galleries overlap as participants in all three events. Here is another glance at some the multitasking events around the neighborhood.

The 16th Annual L.A. Art Show: Over 10,000 works of art from galleries around the world are now at the Los Angeles Convention Center. The featured show within a show is “China Today,” a special program on contemporary Chinese art trends. Through Sun Jan 23

Art Weekend LA: Shuttles and self guided tours to Historic Core, Bunker Hill, Chinatown, Arts District and South Park’s visual arts institutions. LATC (514 S. Spring) is the information center, and on Saturday doubles as the main shuttle stop. Sat Jan 22 and Sun Jan 23 from Noon to 6pm
