Soapbox Race 2009: Sean Feeley pilots his Ironheade racer over the first jump enroute to a first-place finish and speeds of over 45 miles per hour.

Get ready for crowds and big wipeouts: Redbull's Soapbox Race is returning to Downtown on May 21.

The company claimed 111,000 attendees made their way to 5th and Grand for the event's first visit to Downtown in 2009.

The course will follow the path of the one used two years ago, starting on Grand Avenue atop Bunker Hill before speeding downhill and through a tight left-hander onto 5th Street. That banked curve was the site of many a massive crash in 2009. The company warns that it won't all be the same, though, promising a "whole new set of challenges."

Potential racers can go on the Soapbox Race website to submit their entry bid. Designs must be entered by March 25.
