Looking for Valentine's Day Plans? Reservations Still Available Around Downtown

Valentine's Day is only five days away, but a glance at listings on reservations site OpenTable shows that there are still plenty of Downtown restaurants where a Monday night table can be scored. 41 eateries show available reservations between 6 and 8pm as of Wednesday mid-day.

A few samplings of special menus around Downtown:

L.A. Market by Kerry Simon offers a $45 per person prix-fixe menu that features pan seared sea bass or a tender filet mignon as entrees and includes a Valentine Dessert Junk Food Platter for two. —OpenTable

Cucina Rustica at Figueroa and Wilshire offers a $99 for two menu that includes two gallases of house champagne, one appetizer, two salads, two entrees (sea bass, filet mignon or salmon), two desserts and one red rose. —OpenTable

Nick + Stef's Steakhouse at the Wells Fargo Center has a three-course offering for $59 and four courses for $69. Entrees are an oak grilled fillet mignon or a braised kurobuta pork belly (Menu—PDF). —OpenTable

Traxx Restaurant at Union Station offers a $65 per person three-course menu with four entree options, including "Boneless Half Chicken Cooked Under a Brick." —OpenTable
