Baron Davis Calls Out Celebrity Racers to Raise Money for Charity

DOWNTOWN LOS ANGELES — On a parking lot across the street from Staples Center, athletes and celebs whipped around a coned course in the Lexus 200 CTh on Thursday afternoon, trying to beat Clipper guard Baron Davis.
The event may have been a way for Lexus to promote its new ride—which goes on sale March 1—but it also raised money for a good cause. For each participating celebrity, the care company is donating $1,000 to Rising Stars of America, the foundation that Davis founded in 2004.
Action on the course goes until 8pm. The fastest celeb will walk away with the keys to a new 200 CTh.
