DOWNTOWN LOS ANGELES — A Tuesday morning press conference will kick off Broadway 100, a celebration of the 100th anniversaries of three of Broadway's twelve historic theaters. The Cameo, Arcade and Palace theaters all opened between the fall of 1910 and the summer of 1911.
The launch event will be held in the Million Dollar Theatre, which—though only 93 years old—will play host to "Theatrefication" on March 26. The event pairs two pieces of musical theatre inside the historic venue.
Just a week later, REDCAT will use the Million Dollar for the U.S. premiere of "Tempest: Without a Body" by New Zealand director and choreographer Lemi Ponifasio.
Tuesday morning's kickoff takes place at 8:30am.

Support the theater owners by coming down and buying tube socks and batteries.
We should be ashamed of how we treat our history in LA. Bringing Back Broadway can't come soon enough.
