The city's $930 million contract with the CRA, $8.4 million for the L.A. Streetcar, $3 million for a Cleantech incubator and an ordinance making it illegal to purchase illegally sold animals near Santee Alley are among the items on agendas during a light week at City Hall.

MONDAY: Public Safety committee meets.

Dog licensing rules and procedure would get simplified via CF 09-1064 and CF 10-1230.

TUESDAY: It's election day. Council meets, as does Housing, Community and Economic Development committee.

The city's $930 million contract with the CRA again comes up on an agenda, this time with an amended list of projects voted on by the CRA board last week. CF 11-0086 is an effort to tie up funds that would otherwise be seized under Governor Brown's proposed budget.

The $8.4 million for the Streetcar that was approved by CRA last week goes to Council as CF 11-0329.

$3 million will be put into a new non-profit Cleantech incubator under CF 11-0101, which is at Council.

WEDNESDAY: Council meets, as does Transportation committee.

The redevelopment of the Wilshire Grand hotel goes to Council as CF 11-0106. The environmental documents and signage plan were approved by the Planning committee last week.

The purchase of animals sold illegally in the area around Santee Alley would become itself illegal under CF 09-0632, which goes to Council. The item went to Public Safety committee in November, but was just passed by Transportation committee last week.

An ordinance making it illegal to harass bicyclists comes to Transportation committee under CF 09-2895. Council approved the idea in November.
